Paul and Donna Korneliussen come to Market Place Missions after serving for a year with 99 plus 1, another ministry located in San Felipe Mexico. In fact it was through that connection that they came to know of Sonshine Hacienda and felt a strong tug from God to get on board and join Pastor Gary and Karen in their efforts to make this vision a reality.  

The Korneliussens began their journey together in Washington State, having married in 1991. They raised a blended family of 5 children and taught them through example that being a Christian is much more than simply going to church on Sundays. Although both had recently gone though painful divorces they grew tremendously through those experiences and came to truly understand Christ’s grace and forgiveness. They bring with them 10 years of working with youth groups of all ages, several short term mission trips, mentoring and teaching about Christ in a juvenile prison, serving through worship choirs, and a tremendous love for children.   

                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Donna’s work experience includes 22 years of N.I.C.U. nursing and a managerial position in a pediatric clinic.Paul worked as a construction superintendent for 31 years before opting for an early retirement so that they could pursue God’s call to full time missions. We are excited to welcome Paul and Donna join Marketplace Missions as fully supported missionaries.
